Cookie Policy

Our approach
We keep this deliberately minimal. This site doesn't run ad networks, third-party trackers, or cross-site profiling. What little we store in your browser exists to make the site work properly, not to track you across the web.
What we set, and why
- Theme preference. A small piece of local storage remembers whether you prefer the light or dark version of the site, so you don't have to reselect it every visit.
- Rein chat widget storage. The Rein assistant stores your conversation history locally in your browser so it persists while you browse the site. This content is also sent to our AI model provider to generate replies, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Essential hosting cookies. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies required for the site's infrastructure to function and stay secure (for example, routing or load-balancing). These aren't used for tracking or advertising.
What we don't do
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No cross-site tracking or third-party ad networks.
- No sale of browsing data.
- No analytics is enabled by default. If we ever introduce optional, privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate site usage, we'll describe it here and make it clear it's separate from the essential storage above.
How to clear or control it
You can clear the theme preference and Rein's chat history at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site, or by using your browser's privacy settings to block local storage entirely (which will reset the theme to default and clear chat history on your next visit). Most browsers let you do this per-site under Settings → Privacy → Site data.
Changes to this policy
If what we store changes — for example, if we add optional analytics — we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
