Our commitment
We want this site to be usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or the technology they use to browse it. Accessibility is something we design for from the start, not a pass we run at the end.
The standard we design against
We design and build against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA as our target. We haven't undergone a formal third-party accessibility audit, so we describe this as the standard we aim for rather than a certified outcome.
What we do
- Colour contrast. We check text and interactive elements for sufficient contrast in both our dark and light themes.
- Keyboard navigation. Interactive elements — links, buttons, form fields, the Rein chat widget — are built to be reachable and operable using a keyboard alone.
- Visible focus states. Focused elements show a visible outline so keyboard users can track where they are on the page.
- Semantic structure. Pages use a single, meaningful heading hierarchy and semantic HTML elements so screen readers and other assistive technology can interpret the page correctly.
- Accessible forms. Form fields, including the contact form, use associated labels and clear error messaging rather than relying on placeholder text or colour alone.
- Reduced-motion support. Where the site uses animation, we respect your operating system's "reduce motion" preference and scale animation back accordingly.
Known limitations
Some parts of the site — particularly rich interactive elements like the Rein chat widget and certain visual case-study layouts — may not yet meet every AA success criterion perfectly, and third-party embeds we don't control may have their own limitations. We're continuing to refine these areas and welcome reports of specific issues you encounter.
